Adit joins Sanskriti School

Adit turned 4 in November 2009. After an year and half in Puppet nursery school and six months in Euro Kids, we have now secured admission for him in Sanskriti school, a CBSE school in bhugaon, Pune. More on this later.

Adit hits Goa Beaches again

We were in Goa from last week and Adit really had loads of fun. To start with, our Hotel Manvin's in Panaji was located bang opposite a childrens play park and Adit just had to walk down and enjoy swings, slides, see saw etc. He joined a gang of local children for 2 -3 days and really enjoyed with them.

As usual, Miramar and Baga beaches were the places where we could see adit at his best. He was jumping around in the water , literally like a frog and was chasing the waves. I was amazed to see this kid doing this, since only 3 months ago, he was afraid of entering the waters in goa. Nearly an hour on Miramar and 2 hours on Baga were nt enough for him. :)

Back in the hotel, it was play time again in the bathroom for him, sitting in a bucket and a hot shower ( pauush - rain in marathi ).

Adit is going for a picnic tomorrow, to Abhiruchi Gardens. I am sure he is going to make the most of it.

Sports Day in Adit's School

Today, Adit's school ( Puppet Nursery School ) had organised a sports day. I doubt if Adit has participated in any sports, basically because he does not pay much attention to instructions and when he is outdoors, he really enjoys himself playing in puddles, with pebbles and leaves and what not.

Adit is different. He definitely is speaking late, but now we know what he is trying to communicate. He has started saying small sentences ( two words ), such as Yellow Duck, Bye Hitesh ( his friend in school) and is repeating most of the words that we say. We are sure that he will start speaking and communicating soon. :)

Adit starts speaking remarkably well

Adit has shown remarkable progress in the past 3 months. From single words, he has moved on to singing songs and nursery rhymes. His current favourite though is "Singh is King " ( in his words "Chin ij Chin" )

Thanks to his play school " Puppet Nursery School ", he has started painting also.

Kavita is back from NID and CEPT, and plans are on to see Adit get into NID ( after 16 more years :)
